Oh, television. How I love you.
-LOST. Yes, it was fabulous and I loved every second. I totally called the whole, "hey, this is what would have happened if they hadn't crashed" bit. Too many people died however, and it was unnecessary. Still, Desmond and Hurley are still alive, so A+. I won't go on and on about it, but I was pretty damn satisfied overall.
- A new season of Solitary. The whole sweat thing was nasty, but the guy who had the most was pretty funny. I enjoyed it.
-I Survived is decent this season.
-I have become a slave to MTV. I don't know how. I've always been a fan of Made, but now there are too many shows on that channel. True Life, Real World D.C., Teen Mom, ABDC (but I skip the judge's critics), and even Silent Library. I never watched Jersey Shore though. I can't believe I didn't manage to get sucked into that.

Leaked HP Trailer!

I just watched the leaked Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 trailer.
I am not ashamed in saying I teared up a bit. I don't really know why. Maybe it was the producer making it sound as if the movies are ending and that's the end. There is still another part to come out, and I don't think fandom will die anytime soon. So I feel better.
But seriously, HOW AWESOME WAS THAT?
1. I seriously hope that Dan and Emma high five is in the movie.
2. Shell Cottage is cuuuuuute.
3. I am excited to see them in the muggle world.
4, Who's eyes are those? Aberforth's? Confused.
5. Who is the person that is having pictures taken of them? I looks like Sirius, which doesn't make sense to me. Confused again.
6.Graveyard!
7. What is that part with Harry laying down in a suit? I would say after the wedding, but wouldn't they be in robes? And it be nighttime? And where would Ron be?
8. Wait, the scene where they're walking in a crowd looks like after the wedding. Then what's the other one? Confused yet again.
Okay, I guess I'm done analyzing. They'll probably take that video down soon. I'm just glad I saw it in time.
EXCITED. November is so far away though.

Time: approx. 6:30 to 11:00 pm

Asher Roth sucked, which was expected.
Taking Back Sunday played the two songs I wanted to hear.
Weezer had amazing opening and ending videos, but poor Rivers fell a time or two.
Blink-182 didn't play Adam's Song, but played their Blowjob song.

All in all, it was pretty fucking amazing.
Travis Barker's crazy flying drum contraption, Weezer's set, some random drunk guy with a cast in front of us who kept falling, the people I was with, the poster and wristband I got, and playing Dammit as the last song.
A very memorable night.

Who do you think you are? Do you think you are special? Because you're not. You're just like all of those goddamn people out there on this planet. Why should you be considered different? There are millions that have the same personality traits as you. You can look through all of these people and someone will look exactly like you. Don't believe the bullshit people just say, like "Just be yourself". You need to say back, "Fuck you. Fuck who you think you are. You don't know me." Chances are that you don't even know yourself.
I want you to remember this. Remember that you are exactly like everyone else stuck on this shithole of a planet. Remember when you take your last breath, that you are alone and that billions of other people had that happen to them as well. So don't think you are so special, so unique.
Because you are not.

An excellent song, but it shows I really need to cheer up.

SYTYCD Winner Announced.

So You Think You Can Dance. Seriously.
All I wanted was Janette to win. Then she didn't make it to the finale so I thought, well I love Ade and Melissa. They both got out. So I think, I like Kayla and I hope she wins. But no. Jeanine wins. I do like her, but I don't think she was the best at all. Ugh, I am so frustrated with this show.
Next season, I hope that one really strong Asian guy makes it, the redhead that almost made it on two seasons ago, and the sister of that one blonde girl from this season. Oh and Evan's brother.
Anyway, I will get over my disappointment eventually.

Happy birthday, J.K. Rowling! Which of her seven Harry Potter novels do you think is the most satisfying read?

Okay. Whenever someone asks me my favorites, I say I don't believe in favorites. It's only because I am so indecisive.
It seems like everyone likes Prisoner of Azkaban the most, but that's not mine. It used to be Goblet of Fire, but I recently read them all again so it changed. I think I have to say Deathly Hallows. Seriously. I mean, yeah, the epilogue could have been better. But I think that it is full of what I love about Harry Potter. It isn't all about romance, Harry doesn't act like a moody bitch, and they're more mature. To me, it is focused on friendship and bravery and loss and love. The trio do falter, but they reunite and work together. Neville proves himself and so do most of the characters. Everyone in the series just has their moment.
I don't know. I just think of Luna and her ceiling, with the word 'friends' and their portraits.
It reminds me how much I love the Harry Potter series and how much it means to me.
And it makes me realize that it is just all so beautiful.

Epic Review.

Okay. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. This is what I think.

Positive things:
1. Tom Felton. I think he did excellent. And he looked real nice doing it.
2. Luna. Everything about Luna is flawless and I am so glad they put in the lion hat.
3. I thought the new cast members did a really good job. Lavender, McClaggen, and Slughorn.
4. Did anyone else think Harry seemed high when he took Felix Felicus? So amusing.
5. Dumbledore's portrait. And that "Severus. Please." was so excellent.
6. Quidditch. Oh and Hermione confunding McClaggen and running away from him at Slughorn's party.

Negative things:
1. I definitely think they focused way too much on romance. Why did Ginny have to be there every five minutes? And I thought the kiss was way awkward.
2. I don't like the actor who plays Dumbledore, he has an essential line. "I am not worried, Harry. I am with you." Where was that?
3. They could have replaced the Burrow scene with the ending fight thing. Ah well.
4. Narcissa's hair. It's such a tiny thing they could have fixed.

WHY WASN"T THERE MORE OF...
Neville. Neville was in the background a bunch, but where were his lines? He is my favorite. Come on! Even Seamus got a line.
Gred and Forge. I need more Weasley twins, thank you very much.
Remus. My favorite Marauder.
The youngest version of Tom Riddle.
The memories Dumbledore collected.

On my actual theatre experience:
I was sitting in the very first row. It was uncomfortable. I thought it would be loud and people whooping it up during the movie, but it was actually very quiet. Everyone was deep in concentration, I guess. People did freak out during the New Moon trailer. I freaked out during the Where the Wild Things Are trailer.

Overall, I really did like it. I need to see it again. I am sad that they left things out that could have fit in easily. I am not one of those people who can easily separate the books from the movies. I love how all of the actors are getting older and acting better. It's really a fantastic movie version overall and I just need to stop bitching.

Yeah. That's about it, I think.

A memorable conversation.

Him: Do you believe in life after death?
Me: When I'm in a bad mood, I believe this is it, you're dead and that's it. But when I'm feeling hopeful I believe in reincarnation.
Him: It doesn't matter what mood I'm in. I believe that there is nothing after this. THIS is all that matters.
Me: But if this is it, does it really matter? This is only a millisecond in the timeline of Earth so why does it count so much?
Him: Its OUR time. We only have this one chance to live. And it makes everything that much more beautiful.
Me: I see your point. For some reason however, I just can't see it that way. Does that make sense?
Him: Yes, it does.
Me: So if this is our one chance at life, at this, then is there some ultimate goal?
Me: Is there a specific reason why we are here?
Him: What do you think?
Me: No. As much as I try to think of one, I can't. So no.
Him: So, what we're left with is.. nothing matters, but its all that matters.
Me: I think that is an excellent way to put it.

I check it way too often, actually.
I opened it before livejournal, and it's still open.
It's mainly about Michael Jackson's memorial right now though.

No exciting pictures, but you know. I'm starting to think that I must seem like a TV addict because that's mainly what I post about. Oh well.
Mia Michaels is an arrogant bitch most of the time, but I must admire her skills. This wasn't her best, but it was okay. Evan did really good even though he stares at a butt the whole dance. And I did enjoy his partners Unitard Girl shirt. But she isn't memorable enough for me to remember her actual name.
Okay. I love Singin in the Rain. Every freaking second of it. Which means using a song from it automatically makes me like a dance using it a bit more. I definitely think that Jeanine did better than Phillip even if he made the jump. BUT THEY BOTH LOOKED SO CUTE. It made me melt a little. However. When they were being judged, Phillip had this little fuzzy thing from the pillows on his lip and I hated it. Hated it. I can't explain it. TIny things like that bother me so much. Ugh. It was awful.
Oh, and what was with Kaitlin and her partner's comtume? She looked like I Dream of Genie gone wrong and he had his little half-cape-ropey thing.
I still think Max should have stayed instead of Kupono. I'd rather have a fabulously accented ballroom guy than the super-flamboyant-Hawaiian-with-really bad-hair-before-he-cut-it guy. I like him, but not as much. Anyways.

I love this show. I mean, it is just so ridiculous.
Everything Danielle says make you just say, "WHATTT?" She is totally shady in my opinion. I definitely don't believe the whole ' name change and arrested' bullshit. I really feel bad for her kids though. She seems like a horrible mother, exposing her kids to all of her boyfriends and drama. Not healthy for them. Its sad. Oh, here is her mugshot. Heh.

My favorites, by far, are Caroline's children. They are the funniest. This is Albie (poor thing, sitting by the dragon lady), but I think Chris is the funnier of the two sons. Albie is the lawyer dude and Chris is the strip club-car wash mastermind. Her daughter is pretty funny, although she gets made fun of a lot for being an airhead.

I was quite impressed with Theresa's table flip and throwing Chris across the room.
Jaqcueline is kind of a pushover and I have no idea why she's friend with Danielle.
I love Dina and I think she is way pretty.
Aaaand justs for kicks:

Man, I am so witty.

And he is way smart which is total bonus points.

Harry Potter is the best series ever. Really.
Trailer Three is so badass.
Also, WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT TO EMBED ANYTHING.
Notes:
1. Draco is looking fine! I would totally hit that, especially in that suit.
2. Where is Neville? Luna?
3.Hermione can be awesome at times.
4. Fenrir looks stupid. So does Narcissus' hair.
5. I miss old Dumbledore. :(
6. Yay, Quidditch!
7. Young Tom Riddle is one of the things I'm most looking forward to.

I LOVE THIS SHOW.

Okay, this is going to be about Lost, so if you don't watch it, you don't need to bother reading.
1. There were so many Star Wars references that I wanted to jump up and down. I mean, even the title. Some Like It Hoth. Amazing.
2. Hurley. Seriously. Writing Empire Strikes Back is genius, even if you have problems spelling 'furry' and 'bounty hunter.'
3. Miles. Miles and his daddy problems. He looked so hopeful when Mr. Candle goes, "I need you."
4. I really would get this tattooed on me: 4 8 15 16 23 42. I just realized I post a lot about tattoos. Sorry about that. I need to post more in general. Off topic.
5. Finally Daniel Faraday has returned, or something. I kinda have the hots for his nerdy self. I don't know. I still this Desmond is my main man. He is my icon, after all. And he kicked Benry's ass last episode. But yes, Daniel Faraday.
